Patron, the dog has captured the hearts of both children and adults alike. He is the mascot of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the only goodwill dog of UNICEF worldwide. He has also been awarded the "For Dedicated Service" medal for his invaluable assistance in safely disabling enemy explosives alongside sappers.
