This book is a guide to help survive in the digital world. It explains manipulation, propaganda, and how to protect yourself from misinformation. This publication is designed for not only media professionals and communicators, but also for everyone who consumes online content, uses social media, and values their information hygiene. Ukrainian diplomat Dmytro Kuleba wrote a book about handling information, self-defense in the information space, and communication work in Ukraine. "War for Reality: How to Win in the World of Fakes, Truths and Communities" is a practical guide to safeguarding personal data, improving critical thinking, and fighting manipulation in the age of mass media and digitalization. The author analyzed the war for reality, using examples from Ukraine, other countries, and companies. I wrote the book because of the annexation of Crimea and the armed aggression by Russia. Lies and manipulations spread through the internet are a big part of this war. And Ukrainian society was not ready to protect its information space.
